Haze (Playstation 3) Review

To much hype Haze for the Playstation 3 is released. And guess who's reviewing it. Okay, let's start by saying it really, really wasn't worth the hype. Now here's why, the gameplay is alright with a few intresting controls here and there and some of the cutscenes look fairly polished and beatuiful. But, the rest of Haze is horrifing. The storyline is actual pretty good, however the way they explain it the fact that the dialogue is awful is why the storyline didn't keep Haze up. The graphics are ghastly, at some times they looks worse than PS2 graphics and the fire textures are some of the worst i've seen in a good 9 or 10 years. The multiplayer is a bit laggy and with very little maps to choose from and the maps all being very small it doesn't really boost Haze's peformance. So... What's my final verdict? Haze IS trying to be good. It looks rushed to me and quite lazy. It's a real shame because if they'd taken a bit more time and care this could have really boosted the PS3 and be a real nice showcase. It's not all bad some bits of the story are good and the cutscenes are sometimes quite nice(once the mouths were out of sync by about 15 seconds though!). So it's left with a:
